01About these terms

This website is operated by Maxlong International (Pvt) Ltd. By using it, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

02Product information

We take care to describe our products accurately, including profiles, coatings, standards and dimensions. Specifications are given in good faith and may be updated as products develop.

Where a specification is critical to your design or approval, please confirm the current figures with our technical team in writing before ordering.

03Colours shown on screen

Colours shown on this website are indicative only. Screen calibration, lighting and the finish of coated steel all affect how a colour appears. Please ask for a physical sample before committing to a colour.

04Quotations

• A quotation request submitted through this website is an enquiry, not an order, and does not create a contract.
• Quotations we issue are valid for the period stated on them, and are subject to material availability at the time of order.
• Prices, lead times and availability may change between enquiry and order confirmation.
• Orders are accepted only once confirmed by us in writing.

05Cut-to-length products

Roofing and cladding sheets are manufactured to the lengths you specify. Because each order is made to your measurements, cut-to-length products cannot be returned or exchanged if the measurements supplied were incorrect.

Please check all dimensions carefully before confirming an order. If you are unsure, our team can advise on measuring.

06Delivery and collection

Delivery dates are estimates given in good faith and depend on production scheduling, order size and site access. We will tell you promptly if a date needs to change.

Please inspect goods on delivery or collection and report any transit damage to us straight away.

07Warranty

Warranty terms depend on the product, its coating and the environment it is installed in, and are stated with the quotation for your project.

Warranties assume the product is installed correctly, in line with our guidance, and maintained reasonably. Damage caused by incorrect installation, alteration, chemical exposure or contact with incompatible metals is not covered.

08Use of this website

• You may use this website for legitimate enquiries about our products and services.
• You may not attempt to disrupt the site, submit automated or fraudulent enquiries, or upload harmful files.
• Content on this site, including text, images and the Maxlong name and logo, remains our property and may not be reproduced without permission.

09Liability

We provide this website and its content on an “as is” basis. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or reliance on information published on it.

10Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
