Colour coated
Maxlong Colour Coils
Pre-painted Alu-zinc coil, coated on a computerised line.
Maxlong colour coils are manufactured following the Japanese industrial standards of JIS G 3321, or ASTM A 792 and ASTM A755 G550. The coil is hot dipped coated with 55% aluminium, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon for long life. After coating, a regular polyester paint is applied through a computerised system to produce the finished pre-painted coil.
Each element of that coating does a specific job: the aluminium gives long life and light weight, the zinc gives superior corrosion resistance, and the silicon gives good heat resistance and heat reflectivity — which matters on a roof that sits in direct sun all day.

Alu-zinc
Maxlong Galvalume Steel Sheets
The same Alu-zinc coating, supplied unpainted in many gauges.
Maxlong GL coils are manufactured according to the Japanese industrial standards of JIS G 3321 or ASTM A 792, hot dipped coated with the same 55% aluminium, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon composition used across our colour range.
Left unpainted, Galvalume is the economical choice where the metallic finish is acceptable and corrosion performance still has to be high. It is available across many gauges, so the same material serves light fabrication and heavier roofing work.

Maxlong Hot Dipped Galvanized Steel Sheets (GI)
100% pure zinc to JIS G 3302 — and the only original galvanised thinner in Sri Lanka.
For temporary roofing, Maxlong supplies hot dipped galvanized sheet coated according to the JIS standard of JIS G 3302 with 100% pure zinc.
We are the only company maintaining good quality GI thinner sheets in Sri Lanka based on the Japanese standard — and the only company holding the original galvanized thinner according to standard. That matters because a thin gauge is exactly where inconsistent material shows itself first, in peeling and early corrosion.
